EPC's are now required for Holiday Let properties (from 30th June 2011) click here and are a compulsory part of your For Sale or To Let process. These Energy Efficiency reports give the person looking to rent a Holiday let or new tenant a guide as to how Energy Efficient the property "For Sale" or "To let" is before they buy or decide to Let a property of Business premises or buy the property. There are some Tax breaks available for making a property more Energy Efficient as the Government is keen for everyone to use less Energy while living or renting a property.
